Description

This Microscope is signed with Andrew Pritchard and the address of 162 Fleet Street.   It is Pritchard’s  “Massive Model” and is considered rare.  It also has an engraved S/N of 565 which dates this microscope to between 1839-1852.  The binocular set came post 1862.  It is speculated the original Prichard was sent to P&L for an “upgrade”.  This microscope stands about 26 inches (66 cm) tall when fully extended.   This Microscope has no case or accessories, and the Binocular set does not have the P&L Signatures.
