Oval-shaped, single-latitude horizontal sundial made of silver. The silver plate is engraved with an hour scale divided into III through XII and I through VIII, further subdivided into quarter-hour increments. Signed “Ferrier à Paris.” Folding gnomon featuring a floral motif with grotesque figures and a radiating sun around the edge. Rosace on the back. Case made of mule hide with a red velvet interior.
